Some words are preserved in letters. Others remain in our memories. And the most personal ones can be engraved in gold and worn close to the heart.

This gold plaque is shaped like a miniature scroll – a symbol of a preserved message, a promise and a story that never loses its meaning over time. The design combines the classic form of an unrolled parchment with a clean central panel, onto which an engraving of your choice can be applied.

This isn’t just a locket with an inscription. It’s a personal message turned into a piece of jewellery.

The tile is made from 14K gold with a fineness of 585 and is available in two colour options:

The size of the medallion is approximately 17 × 12 mm, and the weight varies between 0.90 and 0.95 g.

The delicately shaped edges are reminiscent of the rolled edges of an ancient scroll and lend character to the otherwise minimalist design. The polished central panel has been kept visually understated to draw attention to the engraved message.

Its compact proportions make this pendant ideal for everyday wear without looking too ostentatious. It hangs delicately on a fine chain, yet retains enough presence to be noticed up close.

A short message can be engraved on the gold plaque, subject to the available space and the shape of the plaque. Suitable options include:

In the case of more unusual requests, the layout is finalised in advance to ensure that the inscription is legible, proportionate and visually balanced. The length of the text, the chosen font and the layout are tailored to the dimensions of the medallion.

Short messages usually produce the most elegant result. Sometimes a single word, date or symbol can convey more meaning than a long sentence.

The Golden Plaque Scroll has been designed for people who prefer personal symbolism to ostentation. The design is simple enough to be worn as a man’s piece of jewellery, yet delicate enough to be worn as a lady’s necklace.

Suitable for:

The medallion can also be chosen as a gift from a parent to a child, between spouses, or for someone who appreciates jewellery with a hidden meaning that is understood only by them.

Each medallion is crafted with attention to its proportions, surface finish and the clarity of the engraving. The central field is polished with precision, whilst the decorative curves are shaped to preserve the characteristic silhouette of the scroll.

Before work begins on a bespoke design, the text, symbols and desired layout are finalised. If required, a visual mock-up can be prepared to assess how the chosen message will look on the tile.

Due to the nature of jewellery craftsmanship, there may be a slight variation in the final weight. Each piece of jewellery is sent with a certificate, and before dispatch you will receive real photos or a video of the finished piece.

A miniature gold scroll, created for the words you don’t want to be forgotten.
